A Middle Eastern MNO wanted to expand its ICT and Enterprise Solutions presence in its home market. A leading ISP in its home market was identified as a potentially suitable acquisition. The client requested MMD's support with the due diligence exercise.
The most difficult part of the project involved placing a realistic value on the business which was projecting aggressive growth figures across a variety of revenue lines.
A detailed assessment of the ISP's business was undertaken with detailed scrutiny of its business plan assumptions. MMD challenged the exec team in relation to business plan assumptions and also challenged their own valuations of the company in the light of international benchmark valuations assembled by MMD.
